I'm going nearly all stainless these days in gun purchases as I use them hard, and I'm in the market for a quality .22 Mag in stainless. I wish Cooper had stainless rifles, not just barrels. So far, looking like Ruger but should see what else is out there.

Budget is $1,000'ish, anything out there? Or just the usual Marlin / Savage stuff?

Cheers and thanks in advance :)

Savage 93 FVSS $300.00
Boyds Stock $100-150.00
Decent Glass $400.00

s**t eating grin watching critters die and pop cans fly .. priceless

Not stainless but I have an old mossberg 64k chuckster wood and blued metal. Its never rusted and never failed and I'm hard on my hunting guns. Its very accurate with everything but dynapoints. They aren't worth much and come up used fairly commonly. The older it is the better it will be prolly. Just a thought

Have you considered a semi auto 22 mag? I have a Magnum Research Magnum Lite which is all stainless. Awesome little rifle. Super accurate and very reliable. You could pick one up for around $800-$900.
