Looking for a Great Thigh holster for 1911

Hey everyone,

Looking at getting a really nice thigh holster for a Stainless Kimber 1911 that I'm looking at but it seems like it's hard to find a thigh holster for anything other than sig, glock (Service Pistols)

Does anyone know where I can get these or even who makes them?

The most-used-by-professionals' thigh holster might be the Safariland 6004 (or one of it's variants).

I looked on the Blackhawk website but can't find any for a 1911. I really do like the look and function of the Serpa Holster (would have to be black though!)

Get the 6008, it is the standard in tactical holsters.

The SERPA is dangerous. Stay away from it.

+2 it is pretty hard to beat this unit when it comes to quality and ease of use.

Vapor Holster.

Low profile and doesn't hang on doorjambs, branches, and just about everything, like the 6004. Has a para strap. Nice breathing channels on the back keep it where you put it and makes for a cool ride.

Get the 92F insert, it will hold the 1911 fine. Expect it to scuff. It's Kydex.

If you ever get turned on to plastic guns, there are inserts for the Glocks and Sigs as well. You just unscrew a couple of screws and toss the other insert in.
