Looking for a gunsmith in the South Okanagan

Good afternoon to you sir, I trust this finds you well on this wet and cool Sunday afternoon.
I've talked to Terry L’Heureux of Black Art Rifle in Naramata a few times at the Penticton Gun show and have had positive reviews from a couple people who've had work done by him.
As well in Penticton there is Patrick Smith at Pro-Tech guns who does work on handguns as well as rifles. Again I know a few satisfied customers and have known him personally for over 15 years.
My usual advice for someone looking for a gunsmith is to call them, discuss the project and gauge their reaction, lead time, price, etc. accordingly.
Like mechanics, there's some who do better work on VW's, some who do better work on diesels and so on.

Just my two cents but Terry at Black Art is capable of any work you may want or need done to your 1911s. He is a professional Machinist by trade that prefers to work on firearms and I can tell you personally his work is top quality. He also has top of the line equipment to work with.
