Looking for a gunsmith who can install 12 ga. Hastings Choke Tubes

I don't have an answer to your question.

Hastings is a brand, a gunsmith will cut the barrel for the thread style/pattern regardless of brand. Knowing what thread pattern you want is more important than brand. Knowing what your barrel is capable of accepting is more important than what you want.

Your barrel has to be measured to see what thread would work... internal and external and concentricity.

So you next move would be to find a gunsmith who could measure and determine that.

Precision Gunsmithing in King City installed a couple turkey chokes for me back when I lived in Ontario. Fast work, nicely done, no complaints at all. Perhaps not the easiest person to talk to, but I would not hesitate to use him again if I needed work done. A friend mentioned that they have moved to a new location, although apparently still in King City.

If you’re referring to Steve Milton you won’t be able to speak to him anymore. He passed away a few years ago, just as he moved to his new location. Quite a character and talented gunsmith. RIP…

Yes, that was the name. Heard about the move but not about his passing. RIP.

Any particular reason you want Hastings chokes installed? I have 870 and 1100 wadlock barrels. I wish they had any other choke thread in them because chokes are pretty much obsolete. They are a square metric thread. Hastings barrels also have tight bores. About .718" compared to remington. 730 or mooberg model 835 which is .750 bore

One of my Model 12s has a Hastings bbl and chokes. So I would economize on buying more tubes.
The reason I would like to talk to a smith who actually could do the work is I am thinking about having my Heavy Duck done for Hastings tubes; if there was enough meat in the bbl.
