Looking for a left handed .270

Hi. Where are you? It matters somewhat.
You care what brand? Good time to be looking. Deer and moose season are close. Add shipping, shipping insurance and taxes to the following prices.
Those of us who shoot a rifle from the sinister side tend to get over looked when the retailers buy bolt actions. However, Elwood Epp's(sponsoring dealer above) is listing several new Rem 700 CDL CLASSIC DELUXE's in .270 at $880.27. No sights at all on a CDL. Add several hundred for a scope. Third page on their site. They have the same rifle in other chamberings too.
And one left hand, Savage 110GLXP3 PACKAGE(comes with a low end, but perfectly serviceable, 3-9 X 40 scope) at $614.25. Excellent rifle that you can upgrade the scope on when funds allow.
Rummage around the other sponsoring dealer sites if you're not in Ontario.
Whatever rifle you buy, unless you're reloading, you'll have to try a box of as many brands and bullet weights of ammo as you can to find the ammo your new rifle shoots best. I'd be thinking 140 grain bullets. In a .270, they'll do nicely for deer or moose.
Try the Exchange Forum(You have to ask to get into it. And it takes a few days.) for a used rifle. Nothing wrong with a used rifle. You really have to work at abusing a modern huntuing rifle to damage it.

"...thats why guns are made for right handed people..." Only bolt actions. Everything else is left hand operated. The C1A1/C2, plus all FAL and HK battle rifles were/are left hand operated. Op handle, selector and safety were all on the left. Heh, heh, heh!

I just picked up a Savage model 111GL in .270
Accutrigger,nice fit/finish and very accurate.
You really can't go wrong.
I'd buy it again in a minute.

That is what I would do.
Ruger 77mk II comes in leftie stainless too. I have one in 30-06 I got from Wholesale 5 years ago and CZ is also inclined to make lefties. I have a 22 and 223 in CZ leftie. Then theres the venerable leftie friendly mostly tang safety Savage 99s. Rem makes it in a pump too. Seems I saw one on the EE a while ago. Luck. P&D stocks some lefties sometimes.
