Looking for a new optic

Reaching out for some info if anyone has any.

I’m looking for an illuminated optic for my double rifle, I have 1inch pivot recknagel rings so the scope tube obviously needs to be 1 inch in diameter, most optics I’ve looked at are 30mm. I’m NOT looking to purchase new rings as there $1500, so I’m stuck with a 1 inch tube.

Looking for brands that have a 1-4, 1-5, 1-6, 1x8 power or something similar. Simple reticle with without hash marks, (German #4 etc) illuminated reticle, capped turrets and good eye relief. It can be a discontinued model as I’m sure there’s one for sale somewhere.

Any information is appreciated.

Thanks,
-Nick

Any idea on the scope series? I’ve looked at the accupoint, but if I remember correctly, the illuminated reticles all have a 30mm tube

Trijicon offers 1" tubes on their 3-9 accupoints, but not on the 1-4 or 1-6. Leupold, Trijicon, Steiner, etc all offer illuminated reticles on thier 1-4/ 1-5 / 1-6x optics but in 30mm tubes.

Yea, that’s the issue I’ve ran into. The highest magnification I’d be willing to go on the low end is 1.75.

Im hoping someone will know about any older model Kahles or Swarovski’s if they exist as that would be my best hope for an illuminated, low magnification optic with a 1” tube.

If you find something has to give to make a choice, I really like the leupold 2.5x ultralight. 6 ounces and 5" eye relief. I have shot bears under 10 yards with it and did not find it overpowered.

For illuminated, leupold mark AR 1-4 with firedot and the new Freedom 1-4 are bot 1" tubes

I love the look of the freedom, and I feel it would be perfect for this rifle. The mark AR would fit the bill but I feel it’s to tactical with the adjustable turrets to put on a side by rifle. I may have two settle for the non illuminated VX-3i 1.5-5x20mm, which has great reviews.
