Hello all! I am new to the community and to shooting. I only recently got into target shooting and have decided that I want to get into long range shooting. So I figure the first step is to find a range to get in the practice! I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation on a good range in the Edmonton area. I know there is quite a selection.

Canadian Historical Arms Society, or CHAS, is probably the best range around Edmonton.

Unfortunately due to lack of certification the Genesse range (CHAS) only has shooting out to 100m for the foreseeable future.
They're kind of in a pissing match with the CFO...and as most of us know...only the CFO wins in such instances. Till they get range modifications that the CFO is demanding completed...or let it go through the courts Edson is you're best bet.
