Looking for a Rem 887

Wolverine Supplies (link at the top of the page) lists them, but when I inquired, I was told they tend to sell out very fast when they can get them in - they did offer to put me on the back order list, so that's an option for you if you can't find them in stock elsewhere and are prepared to wait.

have you now ? sounds like more 870 fanboy lies to me..

there have been many unsubstantiated problems with the 887 ..
as an owner of both the tactical and the hunting models i think they are excellent, if you dont wish to modify them.
infact my 887 tactical is my favourite pump

Komaromi: Thanks to a welcome tip from a fellow CGN member, I'm now the happy owner of a brand new Remington 887 Nitro Mag Tactical. Check out the LeBaron Fall 2011 catalog online. Keeping in mind I have not yet fired it, it's an excellent price IMO. Order placed the night of May 5, response May 6, and gun was here May 11.

Compared to my Norc 870 clone with Knoxx stock, it feels very light, but quite solid. There's some play in the forend (I've seen complaints about that) but no more than my 870 or my dad's Mossberg 500 - just looks more pronounced due to the large, grippy forend on the 887. Feels nice and smooth, and I love how the fiber-optic sight drops right in to the center groove in the rail, compared to my Norc's slightly off-center brass bead. And the action release button is welcomely large and convenient compared to the 870, for someone used to the more accessable behind-the-trigger Mossberg design. Again, I haven't fired it yet, but I love this gun already. I hope it won't disappoint (and doubt it will).
