I have a Boyd stock currently set up for Savage SA Blind-magazine. I would like to purchase a CDI bottem metal and have the stock inletted to fit it. I have contacted numerous gun smith shops, none of which replied offering this service. Does anyone know any gunsmiths that DO offer this service?

It takes me about two hours to inlet one. I do it with hand tools though. So I would say to expect to pay two hours of labor at what ever the smith of your choice charges. If I needed someone else to do this for me I would be contacting Casey at tactical ord or Ian Robertson. Ymmv
