What stock out there is the most kick a$$ for a ruger 10/22 or if there is a different .22 out there already to go. I want one with all the crap on it including front handle, lasers, scope and what ever else I can put on it like a thicker bull barrel type thing. If you have I e like this or know of one please post and if you have a pic post that too. Thanks in advance and money is no object when it comes to my kids. They deserve the best.

Its going to weight a metric tonne with all that on there, just a heads up if its for your kids. Unless you're just going to be shooting from a bench then it doesn't really matter.

Wow Chem youre worried about weight, isnt that my job?

Yeah when some conjures up a rifle for their children that is likely to weigh 10 plus pounds I thought it would be helpful to point that out. You know being helpful instead of a troll on the forms, maybe you should take note.

Ruger SR-22 right out of the box is a good choice, very tactical looking.

go have a look at Dlask DAR22. while not 'tactical' looking it is by far one of the nicest 22's that 'looks hella cool' on the market.
i know my kids love mine.
has a neat stock, bull barrel (like you where looking for) and is a smaller package which is good for smaller shooters.

other then that your getting into making your own or getting into the restricted class (S&W M&P AR22 and such)

As the hypocrite said, with all the bells and whistles on the gun, it will be 8+ lbs. A bull barrel is 2-3lbs, the stock is 2.5+lbs, lights/lasers/sights is another 2+lbs, the receiver and bolt is another 2lbs if its metal like the sr22. Then add a bipod because they cant hold the darn thing.
I saw today there is a magazine with a 50th anniversary write-up. They have info on three done up 10/22 for kids.
Great info for the OP!

If you want light, aluminum and quality then the T-22 is the way to go. Side by side it is noticeably lighter than an SR-22 chassis. The front end is featherweight like a sporter stock. Very young'un friendly and the closest to an AR you're going to get without going restricted. It takes down for cleaning easier than the SR chassis and doesn't have weird discrepancies that make no sense.

Thanks in advance and money is no object

I have an SR-22, it's ONE MILLION DOLLARS ;)

Seriously, sounds like SR-22 is a good start point. Browse the picture thread here and the nordic picture thread on rimfire central to give you some idea of what can be done. As mentioned, they do get a bit of heft all railed out.

I love my SR22 its a great start as there are so many add ons .Hardest part is finding one.I tried a vortex strike fire on mine but prefer optics so I ditched the red dot for a Nikon Pro staff BDC 150.I have also added bolt buffer, volquartsen extractor. Next up is a trigger job.Not into a full rail package as it adds a ton of weight. It's already heavy.

Hypocrite now eh? Not even sure where you're getting that one from, its a pretty big word are you sure you know what it means? Digressing and staying on topic, if you're putting the rifle together for your kids, the T22 sporter with tac sol barrel is a good light weight combo in what you're looking so that they will be able to shoot offhand.

Troy t-22 is the way to go , same ergonomics as the AR platform , plus you get some really nice flip up sights by Troy built right in , and the most important part ( to me ) is that it's non restricted were as the s&w I believe is restricted
