Looking for a verifier for Restricted to NR conversion in Surrey/Langley

Hey all,

Does anyone know a good, reasonably-priced verifier in the Surrey/Langley area? I'm looking at buying another ACR, and I have a complere NR barrel assembly... planning to sell the restricted barrel assembly and have the gun converted to NR. I checked at Wanstalls in Maple Ridge, but they weren't particularly eager to do it.

Just call the CFC. I've submitted Prohibited to Restricted conversion with photos alone.

I am (was?) a verifier... you just need to call the cfc. They should verify over the phone.

Really?? When I called to inquire they said they'd need a "verifiers report", and suggested I call local gun shops to find a verifier... they were super unhelpful. Maybe I'll call back and see if someone else is more useful!!

I've done res. to Non-res. over the phone. Some people just like to make things difficult.

Also, the services of a verifier are free. It's a volunteer service that cannot charge.

Brought my ACR into the local CFO.
Did the paper work on the spot. Submitted to Ottawa know been waiting near 4 weeks for a verification reply!
