As the title suggests, I am looking for a partner. My buddy has a farm very close to Hamilton. He has lost 2 sheep & a lama in the last week or 2. He has no guns or hunting license so I have stepped up to help him out. If you are interested and have a small game license, please PM me for details. There are at least 2 yotes and a freshly dead lamb in the field as bait. Experience is an asset as I have never hunted yotes. I have killed a yote but he was not afraid of humans. He pretty much sucked on the barrel of my rifle and flipped me the bird :p. Someone who is seasoned would certainly be helpful. :)

PM sent.

With a bit of notice I can come out any day/time.

I haven't a whole lot of experience, but with a buddies rabbit decoy and call we got a couple early this year, this was with a frozen block of goose carcasses as bait.

I can probably get us the call to use, but the decoy is out of commission since our last trip.

Hey got little to no experience so probably not your first choice, but I have a .243 and an e-caller ready to go if you still need someone. I live in London but it is summer right now for me so I am very flexible time wise.

"...a farm very close to Hamilton..." Check the by-laws. The livestock protection rules for a landowner/farmer are different than those for his 'agent' too.
"...killing llamas, sounds like..." I'll say. Llamas are touted as 4 legged sentry's that can deal with wolves, never mind coyotes. Mind you, that may be just the adults. If the llama was young it might not have been big enough.

Checked the bylaws... it's all good. As far as the Llama, it would appear to be a pack of coyotes... maybe a 6-pack. Thanks for the heads up but the landowner confirmed with the city by-law office and I'm good to go.

"...the landowner confirmed..." Nothing like having a secretary. snicker. You'd should still look into the MNR's ideas about livestock protection rules. Probably isn't an issue though. You've been given permission to hunt, but have the guy sign the landowner permission form anyway. Especially if he has posted his farm.
"...a pack of coyotes..." Was thinking that 2 seemed light.

Got written permission & I also checked the bylaw map. Like I said, it's all good.

I'm available all week anytime, got a scoped mossberg 500 with a rifled slug barrel for the job.
