looking for advice for scope upgrade on 22lr

have a Simmons 6-18x 40SP on my Savage MK 2 TR

works nice up until about 14X then it gets a touch hard to look though.

Looking for something better quality [but not massive$$] that can see easily out to max zoom. mildot reticles are a plus.

I have a Sightron S2 4-16-42 on my TR and love it. You could always go for a SIII

It depends on what kind of shooting you are doing. If it is strictly target shooting I would suggest a Weaver T36.

If you are also hunting with the rifle a Bushnell Elite in 6X24 or a Sightron in the same power or perhaps a Weaver V24

I would look into a bushnell banner 6-18x50.
I had one and it was very clear and the a/o is to me necessary for rimfire.
I can also suggest hawke optics and leapers if your not looking to spend a lot.
I now use a banner 4-12 and find it more than enough for rimfire

I've got the Redfield 6-18 x 44 on a couple guns. Works great, nice and clear at all settings.
