Hi everyone,

Looking to purchase a pellet/bb air pistol. I'm wondering if anyone can point me in the correct direction. I'm looking for a well constructed piece which allows for single action AND double action, and is co2 powered. I don't want anything blowback as they consume a lot of gas. Being able to pull the hammer back for a precise trigger pull is my top concern. Not looking for a revolver.

If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate some feeback. Thanks for looking!!

I own 2 air pistols, a Crosman 1377 and a Webley Tempest. (British) They're both good, but the Tempest is superb. Doesn't fit your criteria, but most of the CO2 guns I've used were garbage and didn't take long before they were acting up. I don't know much about the recent-production, Turkish-made Tempests..but the British-made ones pop-up in the EE periodically. Worth the wait.

Thanks for the responses. I had a Beretta 92fs 9mm and absolutely loved the feel. Maybe I'll get the pellet version too!

I would second the cp88 but they are still revolvers internally. If you really want something nice look into an HW45 or an HW40. I have both and the Hw45 has the same frame as my 1911.
