My neighbor just dropped off his Win model 70 in .300 weatherby mag. He is 67 and cant handle the recoil anymore. He asked if I, or anyone I know wanted to trade for a .243 or 25-06 type gun. I already have a dearth of .30cal hunting rifles.
I was going to put it up for trade but dont quite know what they are worth.
It is blued/wood in very good shape. Push-feed. Factory red buttpad, 24" barrel. Couple of little wood nicks but it is in excellent shape. What is the ballpark value of these? Cant get pics tonight cause I am leaving for moose hunt in 8 hours. Will post pics tomorrow evening.
