Looking for Beretta or other quality shooting glasses for clays

I've just been using free safety glasses, but the optical properties are terrible and they fog up easily. I've looked at the standard collection of shooting glasses at the local gun shops, they seem hardly better. They all have thick temples which mess up the seal of my ear muffs (even the ones sold in a set with ear muffs - what are they thinking?), and worst of all the frame blocks the top part of my field of view, which is definitely a problem when shooting sporting clays.

A friend has a pair of Beretta "Dedicated Metal Shooting Shields", which are a whole different ball game. Large wrap around glasses with no frame, great optical quality, don't fog up as easily, thin metal temples. Problem: He bought the last pair at the local shop. That was months ago, and I haven't been able to find them anywhere in Canada since.

Does anyone have a local source for the Berettas? What other options are out there that work for clay sports?

If I'm thinking of the right ones then I have seen them at several shops in / around Calgary...Silver Willow, Calgary Firearms Centre and Calgary Shooting Center. I think I might have a used pair of the orange coloured ones lying around somewhere that you could have for pretty cheap...lemme look around and I'll pm you if I find em. I got prescription shooting glasses now so don't use em anymore.

If those glasses are still available, then they should be able to be ordered through a Beretta dealer. Check the Beretta USA web site to see if they are still listed.

Pillas are the best. Fantastic optics, thin frames and the ones I use are very light weight. Some of the lenses make the targets really stand out from the background. The down side is the price for the current models with the VIVX lenses. But, what you can't see, you can't hit.

Check out RE, I picked up a pair of the falcons and they are great, lots of different lens colors very light and fantastic to look through and very comfortable to wear all day long! I have tried a pair of my buddies pilla and no doubt they are the best you forget you put them on within 2 minutes of doing so. But for the $500 difference I'll stick to my Rangers.
