hi evryone

i'm looking for the 6mm berger bullets 115gr

i'm new to the long range shooting but i got hooked last weekend at the Batoche range in Valcartier

600 yards with my stock 243 that was fun but i was shooting 80gr so got lots of wind drift
so i switch fo hornady 105 and it was better so i figure 115 should be great

so i'm looking for the heaviest bullet i can have any suggestion

thx
phil

Phil unless your 243 has a fast twist barrel 1-8" don't bother buying many 115gr bullets till you find out if they will stabilize. Hornady 105 will just stabilize in a 1-9" and sometimes they don't.

Go to the berger website. They have a list of dealers.

I echo the above comments about bullet weights. Be sure to try them first, the heavier ones can be a bit finicky when it comes to how far they are from the lands. I'm still working on the 95 graines for my .243... just can't seem to get them to perform like the Hornandy SST in 95grains.

243 bullets

thanks for the advise

i<ll stick with the A-max 105

i shot 100 round at 600yards all day last weekend and they were good shots

not all V but most of them
i<ll try to calculate wind better next time

thx

phil

You'd be wasting time money and barrel life using 115's in anything less than a 1:7.5 twist and if i were building a rifle for 115's i'd go 1:7

epps just started carrying bergers. not sure if they have 6mm or not. you might want to call and find out.
