Looking for Cowboy club close to Guelph

I ham not that familiar with Ontario (never been east of Yorkton) and a buddy of mine is looking to try the Cowboy game out this summer so any suggestions of clubs within a couple hours drive or so from Guelph

The Guelph Rod & Gun Club hosts multiple cowboy shoots every season. You don't have to be a member to participate. Check the OSASF website for details.

Fingers284: 1ABNDT covered most of the basic information your friend will need. The OSASF site likely being the most useful. Doc Lonesome(Alex Harrington) is the point man for the OSASF site, and a good contact for further info or direction. As your pal will soon see, there are quite a few active cowboy action clubs in the Guelph area. All or most, within a couple of hours drive. He can be sure of a very warm welcome and plenty of support, from everyone.

Decew Gun Club in Thorold and Wentworth Shooting Sports Club in Hamilton both host Cowboy Action matches.

Thank boys...the dude attended a shoot this past weekend and as was expected by us, before he left he was fully outfitted to do a couple of stages by the folks there...he's hooked!!

They don’t do cowboy in the summer. They just had their year end match last week. It’s the Sunday of every May 24 weekend. Winter it’s indoors. Decew in Thorold is supposed to be excellent. Barrie shoots twice a month and half the people there come up from the Guelph/Cambridge area
