Some folk want a rifle with a very specific set of features, and are willing to go with a custom build to get that, but would be totally happy if enough other people felt the same way that there was an off-the-shelf model that filled the bill.

Others want a unique one-of-a-kind that won't be like anything anyone else brings to the range.

And others use "custom" to mean the highest quality, models for few enough discerning customers that there isn't the volume to support a production line.

So "custom" can cover anything from a really funky weird competition gun to a really well-done vanilla classic.
 
I'm looking for long range shooting out as far as 300yrds.

Ideally is to buy something that is already "custom", as in, upgraded trigger, barrel, stock. As well as unique at the range.
 
For a cost-is-no-object 300yd .22 build: Get a vudoo barrelled action and drop it in a Masterpiece Arms Matrix. Get a Nightforce ATACR scope and a MDT CKYE bipod. Pick up a case of SK Long Range Match and enjoy.

what seems to be your problem to get better info towards what you might need to satisfy your urge for exactly what?

I am going cheap on this 300 yard rimfire project.
Winchester 1885 rifle with MVA tang site.
 
Sorry. I got side tracked with things at home.

There's just so many option I've look at since this poste and have a very hard time to make up my mind that's why I'd like a already built custom that can preform and look the part.
 
yea, if you don't want to play with different stock, then Anschutz is the way to go.

If you are okay to drop the action in a stock of your choice, then the Ultimatum, vuduu, or RimX. These last three will give you the most options for your own parts.
 
savage MK-II heavy barrel with 3 cans of krylon paint custom or a limited production custom action build 100% with accuracy in mind using top notch materials and machined to the finest of tolerances custom??? the difference is $350 to $5000, or we can land somewhere in the middle with an Anschutz.......
