I have several very accurate 22 rimfires. The comments regarding ammo choices is so valid.
I have a specific lot of Eley match EPS that performs spectacularly in my Krieger barrelled M37
A different lot of ammo works best in my Jim Williams prepped Suhl 150.
The 40X likes yet another lot of Eley Match EPS.
I also have a Mossberg 144LSB that surprised me when I started shooting a certain lot of
RWS R50 out of it. Not quite in a class with the other 3, but accurate enough to scare some
competitors.
Was at the range last fall. Guy next to me shooting his new Vudoo. He had 3 different lots of
match ammo, and none of them were what he needed to make that rifle shoot. AAMOF, my
EPS at 1059 fps from the #1 machine shot better in his rifle than anything he had with him.
Sometimes finding the right ammo can be challenging....then getting more of the same lot is
a fresh challenge.
