Looking For Different Powders For .45acp

Right now Im using IMR700x. Im looking to try out spherical powders. One powder Im really interested in is Titewad, but I cant seem to find any loading data for it. I reload 230gr fmj and copper plated (cmj).

Anyone ever use Titewad...is it clean burning?

i use bullseye on 45 ACP- 230 grain bullet, 3.8 grains bullseye

5.0gr Bullseye under the 230gr Plate RN

5.1 gr of 231 under a 230... But Bullseye , red dot or titgroup all can make a decent load...

231 is a very clean burning powder, I got bullseye , so I use it for now, and set somewhere in between the 2 loads listed above . around 4 grains if my memory serves me correctly thats cast 230 grainers

taken from the hodgsons website tightwad is a shotgun powder.

I use tight group and I like it a lot. Fairly low charge for decent velocities. I bought some clays as well but it is really too fast for heavy 45 bullets. Meaning velocities are fairly slow at max pressure.

Tight group is a good comprimise I would think that tight wad is even faster burning then clays so velocity would be very slow at max pressure.
