Right now Im using IMR700x. Im looking to try out spherical powders. One powder Im really interested in is Titewad, but I cant seem to find any loading data for it. I reload 230gr fmj and copper plated (cmj).

Anyone ever use Titewad...is it clean burning?

TITEWAD™ Through advanced technology, Hodgdon Powder Co. has produced a superior flattened spherical shotgun powder. Unlike spherical propellants in the past, TITEWAD features low charge weights, mild muzzle report, minimum recoil and reduced residue for optimum ballistic performance. This outstanding propellant designed for 12 gauge only, meters superbly and is ideal for 7/8, 1 and 1 1/8 ounce loads. As the name implies, "a little goes a long way!" Available in 14 oz., 4 lb. & 8 lb. containers

taken from the hodgsons website tightwad is a shotgun powder.

I use tight group and I like it a lot. Fairly low charge for decent velocities. I bought some clays as well but it is really too fast for heavy 45 bullets. Meaning velocities are fairly slow at max pressure.

Tight group is a good comprimise I would think that tight wad is even faster burning then clays so velocity would be very slow at max pressure.
