heavy into pistol shooting and the single stage just aint cutting it anymore. TOO slow if the price is right and you have a press contact me

HELP ME OUT!!!

parts are local, the changeover time is shorter, the action is smoother and the press design is stonger, oh and its cheaper to boot and sitting on the shelf of local gunshops. I have a friend who came over who had owned a 650, tried my hornady and bought one. He's had both the 550 and the 650 and he prefered the LNL

Hornady LnL and Dillon 650 are both equally good machines with similar performance. I myself got the Dillon and don't regret it at all.

Try contacting bear.23 (member here) or check his website at w w w.reloadersbench.com if you wish to go for Dillon

presses

do you know where I can get one for a decent price?? Used or new? Does this press have a auto load for placing bullets on the cases like the dillon and how many rounds per hour can you get out of yours? Do you have the electro case feeder on yours?

Dillon does not have a bullet feeder, although there are some hideously-expensive aftermarket things that claim to do the job. Lee has a bullet feeder, but no collator so you don't save any time, and it's fussy at best. Dion't worry about it, just place the bullets on the cases by hand, it's fast enough.

C&L does not have the Hdy case feeder. I'll have one in a few weeks and report back a few weeks after that - but the field reports on them are good.

If you fixate on rounds per hour you'll miss out on other stuff - anyone can pull a lever quickly for fifteen minutes and multiply by four to get a big number. Having said that, the Hdy LNL AP is at least as fast (maybe faster, it's smoother). The limiting factor on both presses is picking up primers, so if you really want to move along (on any progressive with primer tubes), invest in a primer tube filler by Frankford Arsenal.
