Looking for factory 10/22 stock to butcher.

Where I should be.
Not being satisfied with anything that's out there. Does anyone know where I can find a 10/22 factory wood stock for cheap. I plan to carve one up with a particular style to suite a shorty bull barrel.

I not into the tacticool mods because I want to keep it "hunter" looking friendly out in the woods. I plan on putting a 12.5 barrel on my 30 year old 10/22 but the stocks out there are to outrageous looking. I was go to cut the forend of the stock to show more barrel, streamline the shape, add checkering or dimples for grip at strategic areas.

I still want to keep my original stock and 18.5 barrel for an easy swap just in case I really need iron sights.
 
Frontier sells factory birch and comp stocks for around 30 bucks i think. But most dealers will have a couple in stock if they do in house builds. I bought one recently at Arnies, to cut up.
