You should be careful about pressure. Some of the older revolvers aren't safe to use with ammo loaded to modern specs; especially if it's an antique. If the revolver was made after the switch to smokeless from black powder, I wouldn't worry about using modern ammo. If the revolver is dated to when they were still using black powder loads, I'd check to make sure the factory ammo uses the old black powder pressure limit.
