Hey guys I am working on a website to help out new hunters find locations to hunt animals.

If you see any animals in your travels please mark them down at http:// wildlifetracker .ca

Any locations you mark down other people will be able to see. So you may want to refrain from adding your favorite hunting spots.

All hunting laws for each animal will eventually be displayed on the website as well as basic facts and hunting facts.

If you have any tips for hunting certain animals feel free to send me a pm and I'll add it to the website.

I'm also looking at making a help me page for young hunters to be able to find experienced hunters to help them on there way.

Any feedback would be great thanks guys.

Good work. But the best way for a new or young hunter to take up the sport is to join forums like this one and seeks out some of the veterans that would be willin to teach them the ropes and possibly some of their own spots. Technology nowadays is trying to make this too easy without having to put in hard earned time to get that first animal

Your heart's in the right spot but honestly nothing good comes from internet scouting. Best thing you can do is mentor young/New hunters, that way you can help instill and reinforce proper ethics and morals.

Hooking young hunters up with experienced people is a good idea in my books but not the scouting bit. You could get punched in the mouth for that. The experienced hunters could do the find the deer thing for the new hunters, its all part of the teaching or mentoring.

I don't want anyone else hunting in my area from a public website. I'm all for teaching and mentoring someone but only under the right circumstances.
