Looking for flintlock rifle kit

Just because dealers don't have anything in stock does not mean they cannot get them. Ask. There's not much call for such kits so generally the only time you'll see a kit of that sort in a local store is when someone ordered it in then reneged on the deal.
Depending on cost and quality you may also find that you're better off ordering from a major player in the US such as Track of the Wolff or Dixie or one of the other big suppliers to the BP crowd down there. It'll cost you but you'll get some premium components by going that route. TOTW also has the option of "build your own kit" by selecting the components from a really good list of options. And in this case even the minimum cost options will still give you a top notch performer. And arguably a whole lot better looking and performing than something like a Traditions kit would give you.

Thanks for the replies. I have looked at the various BP websites, including TOTW. A lot of them state that they will not ship any gun kits to Canada. i do recall hearing something about a mom & pop outfit here in Canada that was well thought of in the BP community, but they had no website. There is Clark, in Ontario, but his are close to museum pieces with prices to match, and it seems they are getting out of the flintlock business, relying on their excellent aircraft models.I may go TOTW, but they are hellishly expensive, can't get out the door for less than 1,500 Cdn.

Yes, Clark has sold the equipment and is out of the muzzleloading end of it. I was lucky to recently score a nice Clark flintlock off of the EE.

Tracks' "can't ship guns internationally" caution was always there and applies to completed guns. The kits (including "build your own"s which is a ton of fun - not cheaper but fun - "fun per gallon" right?) are OK from Track unless something has drastically changed in the past month or so - call them if you're unsure.

I ordered from T of W around 8 years ago, last order, and they shipped flintlock gun kits, unbreeched barrels, and locks with no problem.
I looked over their site just now and don't see any indication that they won't ship the same now.
T of W parts sets are just that. They are not kits in the sense that the parts are only available as a package.
Every part is available as a stand-alone product, and there is no discount for ordering the parts together as a set.
So, if you were concerned about ordering a kit from them and having it stopped at the border, you should still be able to just place separate orders for the parts that make up a kit. Say an unbreeched barrel and a lock and some other parts in one order, and the inletted stock and remaining parts in the next order.
When I ordered from them, their parts descriptions on the customs declarations were kind of amusing.
The unbreeched smoothbore barrel was described as an iron tube and the lock was described as a set of machined castings.
This is true enough as the barrel and lock were in the white, with no finish applied.
There are a few small outfits that import kits like a Lyman Great Plains Rifle into Canada on a small basis. Don't know who they are at this point though.

In the past month I have ordered muzzleloader parts from both TOTW and Deer Creek Muzzleloader. Both mailed the parts to Canada .

Not so for M/L barrels at least . I bought 3 barrels from TOTW along with locks and about 2 grand worth of other parts in the past month and have been doing so for 10 years without a single hiccup. Have never needed a broker with a TOTW order.
John Clark, Ontario, is out of business as of about a year ago.
Officially, M/L Builders Supply in Idaho will not ship internationally but will occasionally make exceptions. They do have some unique things.
