Looking for good .300 savage data for 99 lightweight carbine 20" bl

Anyone loading for a 20" carbine(1971 99E lightweight carbine)?I'm reading that varget should push 150 gr sst"s well.Any other ideas?Thanks

I have had good luck with Reloader 15

IMR 4320, IMR 4895, IMR 3031, Win 748 should give good results.

I have run multiple loads in my Savage 99 (1946) so far. I find that 150-165 grain work the best in mine. Here are some of my tests. 150 grain, IMR4064 at 40.0 grains which gave an average speed of 2503 FPS and tight groups. 150 grain, IMR4895 at 40.0 grains average was 2632 FPS with super tight groups. 150 grain, Varget 40.0 grains average of 2624 FPS but was not as tightly grouped. 150 grain, RL15 at 42.0 grains average of 2680 FPS, tight groups which were higher shooting. Your 150 SST should be great, and any speed in the 2500 to 2700 is great !

Would the load data in my manuals(Lyman's 49th ,and lee 2nd edition)be on the light side because of the rem model 81 in .300 sav?I wouldn't think the 81 would handle much pressure.
