Looking for gopher locations in central to southern Alberta

I am looking for prime gopher areas from the Red Deer area and south (just north of Montana) that I can get some contact names for farmers that would let a party of three shooters hunt on using 22 center fire rifles. We are planning a hunt for the week of May 22 to 28. We usually go to the Cypress Hills area of Sask but with all of the wet weather last year, reports are not looking good for a decent gopher season.
Planning on using 17 and 22 rimfires, 223, 22-250, 22 Hornet so too close to population is not desirable.

If you have any suggestions on areas or contacts, please let me know.

Contacts aren't necessary just get out there and knock on some doors. If you've been knocking on doors for an hour and haven't got permission to shoot some gophers there's something wrong with you!

that is the best time as the little ones are out and before the grass and crops get to tall, this is personal experience and I have a fair amount of that lately
