Looking for gunsmith to refurbish a G 43

Hello All

I have been on the hunt for some that would be interested in refurbing a G 43.

The gun is not in the greatest shape but it is operational.

Main Work

Stock, repart of receiver, bolt cover work.

I have contacted some gunsmiths with no inerest shown.

I am from Ontario and would really like to find someone willing to return this firearm to close to original condition.
 
Smithy's don't want to do it because they can't get parts, if it needs any, from their regular suppliers. Most milsurp owners refinish their firearms themselves. Go here. http://www.gewehr43.com/tips.html
Mind you, it may lessen the value.
"...repart of receiver..." Re what of the receiver? That re-parkerize? If so, they weren't parkerized. They were blued. Cold bluing would do it.
