hey everyone just purchased another rifle and it came with a bushnell elite scope 4x16x40 with resettable turrets according to the internet, i can set the scope with the turrets but i can figure out how to set them back to zero. so i can adjust for wind and range. they dont seem to have set screws or pull out. here is some pics hopefully someone can help me get in the right direction.

thank you.

Hold the big knurled knobs/rings and undo the smaller one.
Then lift the larger ring off, turn to 0 and re-install.

Here is a link to the Bushnell Manual.

Go to this last link and search under rifle scopes.
Find your model.
There is a good explanation of it and it does mention using pliers.........gently on
the smaller locking kanoobies.
Maybe put a wee bit of oil under the locking cap heads if you get them off.

nothing on google cant get smaller hub to loosen off unless i tried plyers and im scared to do that. the large ring does not pull out be cause its threaded and i can turn it on the threads from 1 to 10

awesome!! thank you so much more for the link. id rather be safe than sorry and have parts flying out when i take the wrong thing off

Get a pair of visegrips and place a few layers of electrical tape on the jaws. You can clamp it with moderate force and if you're careful you will not mar anything.
