im looking for help to narrow the field down before i go a buy boxes of every kind to see what shoots best from my gun
so if anyone has a browning bps rifled deer gun in a 20 ga what did you find shoots best with yours?

If you can get a lee key drive slug mold and reload it, that might be your best bet.

Sabot Slugs are really expensive. You can get 100 rounds of econo shells from CT or Walmrt, take out the lead shot and use that to cast the lee key drive which fits in the shot cup as a sabot slug. You should be +- 4-5 inches at 100 yards. Lyman also has a sabot slug that looks like an air gun pellet, very flat face, but needs nitro cards under it to fit most shot cups.

Reg sabot slugs are about 3 bucks a round where I live, if you change up econo loads, they are like .30 cents each.

Pick up a box of Winchester Rackmasters. They are a hybrid slug capable of shooting out of both smooth bore and rifled barrels. Ive achieved near true sabot accuracy with them, and they are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper then sabots. LeBaron has them for around $7-8 per box of 5
