Not sure if this is the best category to post this but technically it is a milsurp I guess.
Looking for info and value on a Winchester 1894 made for the Royal Navy in WW1, one of only 5000 model 1894 SRC ( Saddle Ring Carbine ) made for fullfill of a contract for the Royal Navy.
It is in nice shape.
1915 production.
Not sure what to value it?
Thank you

Condition is everything. There is at present a decent shape RN 1892 for sale at a dealer in Cape Breton for $2000 which could be high. These rifles are quite rare however they're also relatively unknown. If your rifle is in museum grade condition I don't think $2k would be insane. Shooter grade with all original parts maybe $1kish? Some pictures of your rifle would help.

I have one of these myself, to give you some perspective the linked thread shows some pictures. Mine is mechanically excellent but shows wear (salt water pitting on the receiver) and has a newer rear sight. After I discovered the DCP mark under the rear sight I was very pleased, they're cool rifles with a neat story. If I died childless, I'd expect my executor to at least see $500 out of mine.
