Looking for info on Ithaca bolt gun

Hey gang...

I know of a guy who has an Ithaca bolt action rfile with a bull barrel chambered in .222. It is blued with a wood stock.

I have been unable to find any info on this rifle. I haven't seen it yet (...will see on Monday...). I figure it's likely to be a LSA 55 or LSA 65.

Anyone know anything about these rifles? Are they a good quality rifle? Does a bull barrel model exist, or is this likely to be a custom job?

I may be able to buy it cheap, so any info would be great!!

UPDATE...just found out the Ithaca did have a LSA 55 Varmint model. The gun was actually manufactured by Tikka...Hmmm...may need to have that one...
