Looking for info on marlin 989 M2

Hey all! So I was spoiled by my wonderful hubby today and he bought me a marlin 989 M2.
I'm so stoked to have this new rifle but do not know much about them! I've been a cooey gal up till now!
So any info would be greatly appreciated!
I do know how to use google before the smart comments come but I like more info then some half arse Wikipedia paragraph

Nice find! basically a 795 (without bolt hold open feature) done up to look like an M1 carbine. Should take new mags fine and be a very accurate and reliable gun. Dont see them very often if at all... Ive wanted one for years.
