Hi. I picked up a beater Stevens model 87. it's missing the right extractor that I''d like to replace. The problem is the stub of the right extractor is still in the hole and the plunger is sitting on top of the stub making it virtually impossible to remove the stub- the spring is very strong. I notice removing the left extractor that there's a hole drilled through the bolt body to accommodate the right extractor stub and this seems to line up with the left exractor stub hole on the other side. I was wondering if the hole goes through the bolt to the other side where the right stub would be. the I can either try retracting the left plunger while I drive the left stub form the right side or - more likely for my sanity- just drill out the left stub. anybody has run into this or disassembled their bolyt & can tell me if the hole goes all the way through the bolt?
many thanks
