just looking for info on hunting in the park

Go to the Government Web site for Parks and do some digging around in there.
They will tell you viewing sites on where to see the critters you are looking for.
http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/spatsizi/

You can even sleuth tips on where the critter you are after is by searching hiking groups web sites for trails and other good things.

An acquaintance I of mine and two others in his family have drawn three GB and a Goat and iirc a Sheep .
The Sheep and GB are in the area you are ...well not sure of the sub region.

Have fun, do some digging and have fun.

I will be hunting low near the rivers and creeks try and catch a big coastal bear working there way up to the alpine

I did hear it is heavily over grown now

Not at all, a little rough in places .
The Klappan River has a bad habit of washing out the grade every few years.
The People of the area usually donate time and equipment to get it fixed up when the water subsides.

Might be worth posting your questions on huntingbc there's quite a few guys on there that have spent a lot of time backpacking the backcountry of bc.

Look forward to hearing the tale of your adventure!

I think I'm going old school as this is how we did it wen I was a kid
My moose will have to be smoke for carrying out and canned at Bell 2 too preserve the meat, witch remind me I need to order up a new can sealer
mite make a fishing trip up that way soon after all the best way to see bears is go fly fishing and let them find you I think it the sound of the fly line well false casting that bring them in or it is the splashing in the water .

Buddy got a sheep draw in the area and we had a successful hunt with a 12-13 year old ram. Lost of moose and griz sign but lucky for us no encounters as we used some heavily overgrown game trails as foot paths. We flew in and hiked up into the alpine.

Good luck on your hunt its worth it just to see the country

I really hope work don't screw up my grizzly hunt should be heading to Saskatchewan soon for a pipeline job hopefully I can work something out
