Looking for information on Deactivated HK G-3

I was told to come to this site and ask here what the value would be on this HK G-3, A-3.308cal. 1976 I'm looking to sell it.I took this in on a trade, really don't know much about it as I'm not much of a gun person.It was mailed to me from ON. and I had to assemble it and as usual I had parts left over ???.It has been cut and welded?I have pictures but don't know how I can add them to this thread??
