As the title says, I'm wanting to work up a long range (600M +) target load for 69 gr Lapua Scenar's.
Paper is the primary target, but might include some steel plates at long rages.

My powder selection is limited to Varget (2lb but may be able to get more), H4895, Win 748, IMR 4198, CFE223

If there is a top performing powder that I don't have, I can always try to find it.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Varget is a fine choice, but CFE223 is worth a try. Is a Ball Powder so meters nicely, and has a suitable Burn Rate. Same can be said for BL-C(2) and H380.

I dont have a lot of experience reloading rifle cartridges but I was impressed with H335 under 68gr Hornady Match. It metered very nicely out of the powder drop on my LNL.

I'm using 69gr noslers and a healthy dose of varget the 77gr bullets shoot very good in my 1-9twist 26" rem700 with a max plus load of varget, heavier the better if your in a windy area.

My rifle really liked 25.2 Varget fed match primer, and a 69 gr scenar.
That is out of a 26" Krieger, 1-7.7t, Wylde chamber...Could keep it 4-5" at 600yds if the wind wasn't too squirly
