looking for land in quebec or ontario for groundhogs

hi iam looking for some open land where i can do some varmint ,groundhogs shooting in quebec or ontario,
i see people in the midwest doing some varmint shooting and i would like to try it out
any suggestions

If you're in Ontario, you'll need small game hunting licence first. Likely in Quebec too. Then go knock on some farm house doors and politely ask if you can shoot on their land. Don't go on Sunday, don't have a firearm in your hand and if they say no, thank them and move on. It's not a bad idea to ask if they know somebody who might let you though.
Ask around at your gun club too.

Not to many ground hogs around my area in Ontario, SE near Kingston. Very seldom see one, used to hunt them all the time as a kid.
