Where are some places I can get a lot of lead shot? I need about 400 pounds. We are using it to make simulated magazine weights for our Tac Vests. A fully loaded mag weighs approx. 1 pound. I will take plywood, router out the middle, put lead shot in and cover with hot glue. This works great. I got the idea from some 'training mags' I found in the States. I have heard you can get it from Canadian Tire and other like-stores. I need to be able to buy this locally as well (Vancouver). Anyway any help would be appreciated.
 
I have been told that the Richmond trap club in the Lower Mainland sells reclaimed shot . Maybe someone else here can put you on to their phone number or location
 
Reclaimed shot is no longer available at the Vancouver Gun Club. Apparently there were some lead contamination concerns, with the groundwater. They used to use a sluce box type method.

Connies Components has some of the best prices around. Bulk buys will save you more.

Get in touch with Caldwell Industries in North Vancouver. They have shot.
You may need to get a dealer to get it for you though.
