I have one of these and tho it is a nice scope, I find the 1.25 end quite distracting for rapid target acquisition in CQ type scenarios. What type of shooting are you planning to use it for?

That is a good point kb007, this optic will be doing on my longer AR and I would be using it for longer distance outdoor training, 50 meters and out to 300-400 meters.
I have a shorter AR with a red dot that I use for more CQ style training.

I thought at 1.25 it would be less of a problem then 1.5 but maybe I would be better to look at something more like the Viper PST 1-4 or the Trijicon TR24 in 1-4.

I bought this just before Sightron intro'd the SIII 1-7 and really kinda wished I hadn't.
