looking for metal coating recommendations

Hi all.

hope this si the right forum

Just finished having a blue short Remington action in .308 with assembled with a stainless Shilen barrel - mounted in a Choate Plaster "sniper" stock. Now looking to get the metal coated, in a black matte ding & scratch resistant finish. Grateful for any suggestions as to type of finish and who does them in Canada.

Dura Coat has never failed me, and goes on thin enough so as not to change tolerance as some others do. Best of all you can do it yourself as heating is not required (although recommended)

I have painted a few rifles with Armacoat and would not hesitate to paint more with it. Murdoc from this site sells it. This is one that I painted.

To me, only one

ARMA-COAT... Browse on this site, there is a LOT of gun done whit it, you can't go wrong...

Can't say nothing wrong about other one, never try them since i'am very satisfied with ArmaCoat

Powder Coating would certainly be a tough finish!
