It is time to add another .22 to the collection. What is left out there in a .22 with a 10+ shot clip? Action style does not matter. But a semi auto is preferred.

SBI has some interesting stuff in regards to adapters and custom 10/22 platform that can adapt to large magazines.

I also believe some of the Savage semi auto 22s have larger magazine capacities available. The Model 64 and A22 come to mind.

Semis
Savage A22 - 10 & 25 round mags (a few different models available)
Savage 64 Precision - takes 20 round mags (several models available)
Ruger 10/22 with a MagDump mag insert & Remington 597 mags

For accuracy forget semi autos... The straight pull action ISSC SPA 22 has a 10 round mag, an excellent adjustable trigger, and is very accurate. Made in Austria.

4-12 Hawke scope, with a bi pod and a barrel tuner.

None of my A22s seat a butler creek 25 round mag. Spoke to both savage and butler creek, both blamed the other and I gave up.

Thanks for the replies.

Right now my choice would be a Ruger 10/22 stainless. I had one at least 10 years ago. It had a butler creek 25 round mag. Put 30K+ rounds through it. Never cleaned it. Zero problems.

But this time I would get a tri mag adapter an two more mags.

Rossi RS22 22lr is a semi-auto, I don't have one so can't say if they are good or crappy, prophet river has them and they seem to be budget friendly

We don’t know before we know that’s why the picture. I’d go the 10-22 route for modularity reasons but you’d be limited to only 10 rounds because all 10+ rounds 10/22 magazines are prohibited. The other options have been covered.

Actually Ruger 10/22 magazines that hold more than ten rounds are not prohibited!

This bull-sh1t suggestion was thought up and designed by an OIC RCMP member who is a civilian gun owner/hater. His thoughts are only the military & police should be allowed to own firearms. This isn't law, but only an opinion of this stupid cop.

It always shocks me how people and businesses are so easily duped by the PO-PO when they come up with crazy ideas. FEAR is the new virus!

There is no criminal code offence for this so-called law. Only bullsh1t baffles brains!.......:)
