Hope to get some input on buying a new pair of binoculars. Have priced out Nikon Monarch 5 in 10x42 for 429 $ canadian. Looking to know are these worth the money or can something be had that is better for the same price range. I have an old pair of 7x42 that have served me well but are scratched and my older eyes need some more power. Thought about 12x42or50 but thought that they might pick up to much heat wave and hand shake activity. Will be used for hunting and general viewing. Thanks in advance for your input
