Looking for new binos. Price range $200-300

I don't know a whole lot about binos but I want to get a pair that would be used to glass for many hours at long ranges.
I've read lots of things about binos and have looked though many kinds but I can't tell the differance between any of them.
Any help would be great.

I got a cheap set of Vortex,200.00 They are great for the price.If you want a pair you can glass with for hrs it is hard to beat Zeiss -8x30-40 they are awsome.I used them on a Brown Bear hunt on the Alaskan Pennisaula where we set and glassed for hrs,They were great.The 8-30 is small and compact and held up to any weather.They are more money but worth it.

The best bang for the buck in that price range are waterproof porroprsm binoculars like Nikon Extreme (under $200), Steiner 8x30mm marine or predator (about $300) or older ( used) Fujinon comertial or military version, etc. Stay away from binos with exit pupil of less than 4mm. Roof binos in this range ( $200-$300) without special phase coating are pure junk unless you are willing to spend at least $500 or more. This is the best advice from the guy who rely heavily on binos while hunting for 3 decades now. Happy hunting.

I have a pair of Steiner 8x30 Military binos, pretty good set for the money. I think I paid $230ish
 
Vortex Diamondback 10X50 are less than $300 and are outstanding binos for the money. They have very clear and bright optics with and unconditional lifetime warranty no matter what happens to them.

Git yerself a pair!
