any one tryed one of the richard micro fit stocks was thinking of restocking my remington 700 in 7mm stw with one but wanted some feed back for anyone who has used one.
good day:
i also was going to buy a stock from richards, for my remington m660.
after doing some research on the net.
i decided to go with a different company.
read some of his reviews, then make your decision.
They are pretty rough, but can be made into a decent stock if your decent with wood. Prepare for a lengthy wait if you don't buy anything they have in stock.

I ordered one for my Husqvarna last year. It was very very rough. The wood was very dry, the fore stock warped so my smith had to put it in the steam press for 6 days if I remember right. There was a lot of work to get the action and barrel in. I ordered a grade A fancy American Black Walnut, there are several small knots which I wasn't expecting for a grade A fancy.
Due to my own experience I will buy from Boyds next time. If I decide on another hardwood I am going to check with my smiths friend who makes stocks in SK to see what his price is.
