Looking for new Stoeger m3500?

Trying to find a shop that has Stoeger m3500 in/near GTA. The only place i can find a cabelas or bass pro. Any info is much appreciated.
 
Stoeger is made by Berretta/Benelli now.

Go to the Stoegercanada.ca website and look up the dealer locator for your postal code in Toronto. Shows Al Flaherty's as a dealer. You can also call the customer service and they might be able to tell you a more updated list. They have amazing customer service. I have one of these shotguns and it works flawlessly I love it! The easiest cleaning semi auto shotgun I have ever worked on!!! There are barely any moving parts. Even the bolt comes completely apart without tools! Kinda chunky with the steel recoil reducer in the butt stock, but for my main use of sitting in a duck/goose blind, it doesn't matter one lick!
 
Beretta owns, Stoeger, Benelli, Franchi, Bettinsoli, IGA/E.R. Armantino(Brazil), Tikka, Uberti, & Burris Optics. Stoeger is the brand name they use to market their more economical lines from Brazil & Turkey. The Stoeger M3500 is a Turkish assembled version of the Benelli SBE2, it is a quality unit.
 
I have the older model, had it for about 7-8 years now and love it. You wont be disappointed in this unit, I have thousands of skeet loads through it and lots of hunting loads and have never had an issue besides my own stupidity. I did buy a new Beretta A400 for skeet shooting but only because I wanted a longer barrel and wanted dedicated skeet gun with wood furniture. The M3500 is still my go to for hunting, friends wanting to borrow and letting people try skeets and they all like it, a few have even gone and bought one after using mine. Easy to disassemble for cleaning as others said, i can strip it down to parts in a matter of minutes without tools. Yes Stoeger is owned by Beretta so they still have strict quality control criteria to meet.
 
Jut out of curiosity/ignorance what other options do we have in the same price range that are 3 1/2in chamber?

All the above but not Bettinsoli. They do contract some of the Franchi guns to Bettinsoli as Franchi is no longer a manufacturer, but simply just a brand

Franchi, the new sx4, potentially an on sale sx3, Mossberg I am not sure is an upgrade, if you can consider a 3" chamber, then your options are Weatherby SA (good rep), hmmm what else, oh, the new Remington v3 is a little more but is supposed to be an excellent gun (although only comes with one choke).

Really the 3.5 gives you questionable value for the money. I know anecdotal experience doesn't count for much but I hunt A Lot and I haven't used anything but a 2.75 in years. Also, if you are worried about extra pellets for waterfowl then check out the Kent not toxic loads tungsten and bismuth. They pattern very well and are dense like lead. Expensive, yes.
 
And just one guy's opinions, but at $1000 you are buying
At the bottom of the semi quality line, if you bought a pump and are willing to shuck your own shells you can buy at the top of the pump quality: wingmaster, bps or Benelli which comes in 3.5. assuming they fit of course.

Lots of quality semi's available in the $1000 range. Especially if one looks in the used market. I bought my Silver and my Mossberg 935 new for less then $700. Now while that was a while ago, I have purchase more then a couple dozen quality semi's in the used market in around the $1000 range

OP...if you are looking at a new Stoeger, I would be inclined to invest that cash in a new Franchi. But the best advice you can be given is to buy a gun that fits you well. Try shouldering a bunch and see which is the best fitting gun. That will be your best bet
