Hey guys

I got a new vz58 NR rifle and uh i would like to replace the stock just to give a new look.

Actually it has the m4 collapsible stock, i was wondering what you guys would suggest, what options do i have?

Personally i would like to get a magpul MOE stock, but i dont know if it fits? i compared the stock system on vz58 and my ar15 it looks exactly the same.
Just making sure before buying another stock.

Kinda like this one here : http://www.vz58rifle.com/products/folding-stock-module-w-ctr-type-stock/

theres an adaptor here for similar stocks, but i would prefer to use an original magpul.

Advices please.

Thanks

I find the M4 to be cheap and rattly and only good because it'll slide out for taller shooters. Other than that, I love it.

Im no expert by any means i have hardly any experience at replacing/swapping gun parts/accessories.

Looks like my AR15 and VZ58 shares the same buffer tube for the stock.

I guess Magpul MOE(on my ar15) and standard ar15/m4(on my vz) shares the same buffer tube for the stock.. i only wanted to swap the stock to see how it would looks like. i suppose it will fit.

If it doesnt : what other choice do i have?

Anything BLACK could do it.

maybe i should have posted this thread in the black and green rifle section.. but since the vz58 was released with wood furniture back in the days i guess it was the right place...

The first one at the top of the picture.. this is how i want my rifle to look like. The two others i dont like it.

Might seems stupid but that stock means everything to me the way it looks it different.

Ergonomic's and the rest... pretty much the same.

What Doug M said, that is a Magpul CTR stock which should fit right into the existing buffer tube if you buy the commercial size (not milspec).

Stormworks adaptors would only be necessary if you had a VZ with wood stock or a folding stock. Also if you wanted to align the stock with the same angle as the bore.

I just bought a VZ the other day and I am also changing the stock. Canada Ammo also sells a multi height adaptor.

just tried to swap both of my stocks.

Ar15 sig m400(magpul ctr) to my vz58(m4 standard 6pos. buttstock)

I got one Mil-spec and one commercial. standard m4 stock is loose inside sig m400 and magpul ctr doesnt want to fit into vz58 buffer tube.

does the buffer tube are interchangeable?

It would solve all my problems and make life easier! :) and save money for more upgrades~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if the buffer tubes can be swapped. But it would be a crime to put that M4 stock on the Sig! :)

LOL i just puted that m4 stock on the sig just in case i go shoot it before i get a new stock!!!

OBJECTIVE COMPLETED...

Both buffer tube size might be different but they both got the same threads... so i just interchanged the buffer tube and putted my MOE CTR Stock on my vz58 and it looks awesome.. but sig m400 need a new stock because the stock looks so cheap...
