Looking for one any suggestions

Not too familiar with the whole air gun thing, so thought maybe someone here may be able to help me out.
I am looking for the most accurate airgun under 500 fps, ( just so I dont have to register it). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Was hopeing for a .22, but .177 will be fine.

Thanks guys will look into that. Prob a rifle, dont want to spend much as its only going to be used very little. Saying that an accurate pistol at 500fps would be a lot more convienent.

Crosman Backpacker aka 2289g, Availability in the US may be limited (Didnt check your location), but it is an air rifle/pistol all in one. and .22 aswell, I love mine.
