---My 6.5 Creedmoor is a Browning A-bolt 22" bbl---brass fire formed 22-250, primer Fed 210, 120 Speer flat base with 39.5 grs IMR 4895 ( Nosler #7 manual accuracy load) put 3 in .339 C to C and 3 in .365 with 40 grs of CFE 223---NOTE this last CFE load is an extrapolation USE AT YOUR OWN RISK !!---Chrono at just under 2800 10ft from the muzzle for both loads---I have seen Hornady factory ammo at Cabelas---I fire-form 22-250 brass using the COW method--i.e. 18 grs Unique, fill with Cream of Wheat to bottom of the neck(I use corn meal),tap in a small piece of cleaning patch to hold everything in place and shoot--VOILA !--a 6.5 Creed formed to your chamber.---A fine cartridge,gentle(VERY) on the shoulder and flat shooting--a short action 6.5x55---BTW should you fire-form from 22-250, as described,shoot outdoors--they are loud ! --I am a 6.5 fan and have a number--and ,NO,I won't be buying a 6.5x300 Weatherby.
